There are many lenses available in such a mount, and many people would like to try to use cine lenses on still image digital cameras.

This adapter allows using OCT-18 lenses on cameras with Nikon Z mount.

The adapter has a simplified design, that means that it is purposed for zoom lenses mainly. The original Konvas mount allows a lens external mount part rotate, keeping the internal part immovable. This is necessary to move an optical block of a lens along the optical axis without rotating of the optics and scale index mark.

Zoom lenses and anamorphic blocks (solid anamorphic lenses, not combos of a spherical lens + front anamorphic attachment) have an internal focusing mechanism, so they don't need complicated mount system of Konvas camera - their mount can be just locked in the adapter. This is what our adapter exactly does - it locks the lens mount with three screws. Zoom and anamorphic lenses work as intended with this adapter.

As to prime lenses and anamorphic combos, the situation is a bit different here. With the mount locked in the adapter, you can't rotate the external barrel of the mount, and should rotate the inner optical block instead to focus a lens. This causes some inconvenience: the optical block may turn off the housing completely, and scales index rotates instead of being immovable. Also, you'll not be able to focus anamorphic combos at all with this adapter.

Couple more notes:

Infinity focus is preserved.

A lens mount is protected from damage with a flat spring between the mount and screws.
