This adapter is purposed to mount a D-mount lens to M52x1 focusing helicoid, and to some non-reflex digital camera then.

It was made with Samsung NX camera in mind, but will work for other cameras with shorter than 25.5mm flange focal distance.

The adapter consists of two parts to make a lens installation more convenient.

Deep recession is necessary to reach infinity focus.

Using a focusing helicoid instead of the lens native tiny focus ring makes focusing process more convenient, though you will not see the distance scale.
