<p>This BMPCC adapter allows using Kiev-16U lenses (16mm movie film format) on cameras with micro 4/3 mount. It allows infinity focus.</p> <p>Kiev-16U is 16mm film movie camera, so its lenses vignette on most MFT cameras. The main purpose is using it on cameras with smaller sensors like Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera.</p> <p>The adapter is made of light alloy, anodized and laser engraved.</p> <p><strong>Improvements over standard version:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knurling on the front part provides better hold for fingers when you are installing/removing it.</li> <li>Set screw secures a lens in place, preventing accident turn of the lens if the focus or aperture ring on the lens is too tight (quite common case with these old lenses).</li> </ul>
