This adapter allows using lenses from Kiev-16U Soviet 16mm cine camera on cameras with Fuji X mount. Infinity focus is provided.

Important notes:

• The adapter is made about 0.15mm shorter than it should be. This is done intentionally to provide better compatibility with misadjusted lenses. Some lenses may overrun infinity a bit, and distance marks may not match actual distances perfectly due to this.
• The lens witness mark position is calculated to be on the camera top for our test lens. Your particular lens may have the mark at the incorrect position, as you can see even on the photo of the setup (another lens was used, and the red dot is not on the top). Nothing can be done, unfortunately, since Kiev-16U lenses are strangely different.
• The adapter has a small set screw at the bottom. Its purpose is to secure the lens. Many old lenses have stiff focus. The best approach is to service them, of course, but this set screw will prevent unscrewing the lens accidentally if you can't relubricate your lens yet. Use it carefully to not damage the lens mount thread too much.
