This adapter allows usind bright SMD LED to illuminate microscope object field.

The LED can be mounted with screws and heat-conducting glue. Tested suitable microscopes are Zeiss Amplival and Zeiss NF stand. For Zeiss NF, you may need to put a piece of paper tape on one side to make it tighter.

Such setup was tested with a high power LED. The heat sink works well up to 5W (5 V, 1000 mA). The adapter is too small for very high power (say, 10W) but at 5W it works well.

For sales is the adapter only without LED.
