This adapter allows usind bright SMD LED to illuminate microscope object field.
The LED can be mounted with screws and heat-conducting glue. Pictures show the adapter mounted with nuts and the original "Zeiss Illuminator 60W" for "Zeiss Standard" microscopes.
Such setup was tested with a high power LED. The heat sink works well up to 3W (3 V, 1000 mA). The adapter is too small for very high power (say, 10W) but at 3W it works well.
For sales is the adapter only without nuts or LED.
