This adapter is purposed for mounting M42x1 macro rings, helicoids, apertures or other units as parts of more complex setup to a camera with Canon EF-M mount.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT try to install M42 lens directly to it. This adapter is very thin, and your lens aperture actuating pin may damage your camera electrical contacts. Due to shoth length of the adapter you will not be able to focus a lens installed to it anyway. So, once again, this adapter is for more complex setups, not for direct lens installation.
