This adapter is purposed to connect a Riccardi Reducer 0.75x with the Deep Sky Dad Field Rotator 1. 

It can also connect other equipment with such threads. The additional female M48x0.75 thread allows adding a 2" astronomy filter on the reducer side is the equipment has enough inner room.
