This housing is purposed to mount a Rodenstock XR-Heligon 0.75/50mm lens onto a M65x1 focusing helicoid.

Also, ih provides M82x0.75 front female thread to let you use screw-in filters if necessary.

X-ray lenses have very short back focus, so you will not be able to reach infinity focus. The lens is suitable for close-up shots only.

Therefore, you may use just a simple M65 adapter for your camera instead of a focusing helicoid, and focus image just by moving the camera toward an object.
