This adapter can be used to install LOMO (Lenkinap, KMZ) lenses with OCT-18 mount (for turret Konvas) onto cameras with Arri PL mount. It allows infinity focus.

Take note that this is simple adapter - it holds mount of the lens so it can't rotate. This means that it fits zoom lenses (Foton, Lenar, OPF series) since these lenses have focusing mechanism independant from the mount.

On the other hand, most of OCT-18 primes needs to rotate in the mount in order to focus properly. Actually, you still can focus them even using such simple adapter, but behavior of the lens will change in this case - focus ring will become immovable, and you'll have to turn optical block for focusing that is not convenient. Also, you'll be able to focus closer that 1m - but with risk to unscrew the optical block from the focusing mount.

So, once again: this adapter suits OCT-18 zooms perfectly. Using with primes is possible with some issues.
