There is a plastic advance knob that often fails. The knob fits onto the end of a shaft with flat cutouts. The original knob’s hole has flats to grip that part of the shaft, but because it’s plastic the hole has often worn to a circle, and won’t turn the shaft anymore.
We made a metal replacement part, that is more durable. The one-way spring clutch is not included. You can find it coiled inside the original knob. You will need to remove this spring and insert it into the replacement knob.
