This stop ring can be used as a lock nut for T2 screw-on accessories.

It is used to adjust angular position of the accessories. Put the nut onto a male thread first, add an accessory (camera, binoviewer etc), adjust its position and tight the stop ring to secure this position.

T2 female thread, 2 mm extra path, 6mm total thickness.
